It's such a joy to photograph couples, weddings, newborns, families. It's incredible to follow along, and it seems like yesterday (yikes CLICHE) I was photographing Eryn's wedding. And now look at her with her newborn :) And look how beautiful he is!

Fun fact I love when friends come to town for a visit. A) I miss them B) I have the ultimate excuse to clean my apartment and C) Sometimes we find really huge sand dunes and have to pull over and take photos.

I have an obsession with those Penguin classics with the pretty orange covers. I've always wanted a collection of them, but I've never stumbled across one and frankly I'm too lazy to start a collection of anything. HOWEVER, I was at Half Price the other day and found this beautiful copy of Little Women. I gasped in the aisle. A beautiful Penguin copy of one of my favorite books? It was four dollars and I cried a little. Also, it makes for a very sweet prop.

My hometown officially hosts the sweetest one room chapel I've ever seen - and it's brand new! Silver Sycamore in Deer Park, TX is building a quaint Western town that I highly recommend checking out. Also, Samuel and Jessica were the first couple to use it (so that was pretty exciting in itself).

I love all aspects of wedding photos. I love the details, I love the big moments, I love taking pictures of the shoes and the scenery. Truly, I love it all. However, I have to admit it is so hard to top the candid moments between family and friends. Tannya and Mario had their beautiful wedding in Laredo, Texas and these pictures of Tannya and her father were making me tear up while I was editing. So sweet!
